Innovation PEI Launches Clean Tech Challenge:
A $100,000 Opportunity for Innovators
 

Are you an entrepreneur or researcher in the cleantech space? Innovation PEI, in partnership with Net Zero Atlantic, has launched an exciting new Clean Tech Challenge, offering a grant of up to $100,000 CAD to support groundbreaking cleantech innovations in Prince Edward Island. This initiative aims to drive sustainable solutions and fuel economic growth while positioning PEI as a leader in clean technology.
 
What’s the Challenge About?
The Clean Tech Challenge is designed to support the research, development, and scaling of innovative cleantech solutions in key focus areas:
  • Cleantech Implementation in Marine Applications
  • Cleantech Implementation in Agricultural Applications
  • Grid Modernization
  • Battery Development & Long-Term Energy Storage
  • Hydrogen as an Alternative Fuel
A minimum of four applicants will be awarded, making this a fantastic opportunity for forward-thinking businesses and researchers to secure funding and bring their innovations to life.

Who Can Apply?
Successful applicants will demonstrate:
  • A strong, capable team
  • Viability and market potential of their solution
  • A positive economic impact on Prince Edward Island
