Huego Electric Secures First Order with City of Summerside
Huego Electric, a division of China Gold Fortune, has recently expanded to Summerside and has confirmed its first order of high quality LED streetlights for Summerside Electric.
China Gold Fortune International specializes in the development and production of remote control smart meters, prepaid integrated circuit cards for gas and water meters, industrial gas flow meters and LED lighting products. They currently export their products throughout Asia, Europe and North America.

Vector Aerospace Atlantic’s Newly Commissioned Test Cell expands suite of service offerings in Summerside
Early in May, Vector Aerospace Atlantic put into service its latest test cell which now expands it testing capabilities to meet growing customer demand. This new multimillion dollar test cell is the latest in testing capabilities enabling testing for turboprop engines producing up to 5,000 shaft horsepower. It joins three existing test stands at Summerside, two dedicated to turboprops and one to turbofans.
The new cell will expand Vector’s local test capacity of turboprop models (such as the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A and PW100 series) supported from the Summerside overhaul facility, securing faster turnaround times for their clients and supporting further market growth opportunities for Vector.
Vector continues to be a leader in the aerospace sector in Prince Edward Island, employing 475 at its Slemon Park facility in Summerside.
